Doing some quick water color sketching in Albertson's Park in Boise, ID with my daughter, I couldn't help but design a cottage that could be in this gorgeous autumn meadow. One of the most wonderful things about sketching imaginatively is the ability to let the site dictate the architecture rather than a human being. I imagine this wildflower cottage with lime-washed walls, a slate tile roof, small window to wall ratio, an even smaller footprint on the meadow.
