OUR BACKGROUND

NOELLE and FACUNDO MARTINEZ are the founders and principal designers of Studio Boise, LLC. Partners in life and work, they established Studio Boise in 2012 to do what they love: design smart, innovative, and beautiful living environments in the city where they met.

NOELLE has fostered an obsession with architecture since childhood and earned her Bachelor Degree of Science in Architecture from the highly ranked California Polytechnic Institute's Architecture Program. Before co-founding Studio Boise, Noelle lived and worked in Nevada and California at architecture firms ranging from 100+ employees to two. She has a particular interest in efficient and sustainable home design.

FACUNDO (fah-coon-doe), born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, came to Boise through a number of business ventures. He earned his Master Degree in Architecture from the University of Idaho. He fosters a true passion for sustainable and green design. Facundo is a LEED associate as well as a Certified Passive Home Consultant. In addition, Facundo has written highly esteemed research on residential energy consumption for the Integrated Design Lab in Boise, ID.

Together, they have 3 children and a chubby dog. They enjoy travel with their entire family, hosting asados, floating the Boise River, and dreaming up ideas.
